Ahhh…the joys of African travel – that’s much better, we were worried you were getting soft with your airport meet & greet and the cook

Now all you need is a morning on a Zimbabwean bread line, fighting over the last available (stale) roll, and you’re there!

Sounds like a fab trip, exceedingly jealous. Keep us posted, this is all highly entertaining!

Yeah, I didn’t make it on the train, but I did take the train from Kayes to Bamako and then endured a 12 hour bus ride from Kayes to/from Dakar. It’s a hell of a trip either way.
