If you need to promote your organisation and its solutions in English, you need material which has been written by a native speaker who is experienced in writing marketing literature for corporations. A native speaker will be able to capture the tone, style and idiom you are looking for more effectively than with a translated text.
I have experience in several different markets and have lived in both North America and Europe, so am familiar with the demands and different writing styles these require.
I wrote the text in the following documents. These documents are all in the public domain; I have worked with several other companies where the result was for limited circulation only. Other projects have included text for annual reports, staff newsletters, press releases, and ad campaigns.
| Visit Reykjavík | The "Think of a Family Break" brochure on the Reykjavík Capital Area. (Autumn 2008) | Iceland Express | Texts written for Iceland Express's English website. (2006) | Issues & Images | An interview with Dr Sigrídur Valgeirsdóttir of NimbleGen. (July 2006) | Seafood Cellar | A brochure for foreign travel agencies booking groups in Iceland. | Reykjavík Pure Energy | Selections from a promotional guide to the Reykjavík Capital Area. (The selections appeared in either 2005, 2006 or 2007.) | Iceland Review | A promotional article on Icelandair Hotels in an IR Special Supplement. (Issue 3, 2005) |
